compliance with the Curriculum of The Therapeutic Touch Network (Ontario),
Therapeutic Touch workshops
are usually divided into Three Levels, with a specific content for each.
When workshops are presented out of town they can be combined to suit the
population and needs of the local promoter. When Crystal presents out-of-town,
often a promoter will have a two-day event: a general Imagery workshop
on day one, open to the public, and a Therapeutic Touch workshop on day
two. There is no limit to the number of participants who may attend an
Imagery Workshop.

LEVEL I:
Participants will learn
the form called Therapeutic Touch, its various applications and have the
opportunity to practise it with supervision and feedback. They will also
learn the scientific basis and leading edge Therapeutic Touch research
that supports it and will be able to begin immediately using this skill
with family members, colleagues, students, clients and patients. |

LEVELS II & III
(These levels may be taken
separately but there is great value in spending two days immersed in Therapeutic
Touch):
PRE-REQUISITE:
A Level I Therapeutic Touch Workshop (Krieger-Kunz Method), and at least
3 months practice.
Participants will have
the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the various
parts of the Therapeutic Touch form and learn methods to enhance their
ability to use Therapeutic Touch specifically and effectively. They will
be taught: up-dated information on healing research, specific techniques
for dealing with pain, the interface of emotional and physical fields,
how to incorporate imagery into the healing process to effectively use
the body's energy and healing systems, counseling skills to facilitate
working with the emotional field, and experience Therapeutic Touch as both
provider and recipient. |

DEEPER DIMENSION
(ADVANCED)
PRE-REQUISITE:
A Level III Therapeutic Touch Workshop (Krieger-Kunz Method).
This workshop will explore
in depth the potential of Therapeutic Touch, allowing experienced practitioners
to move to a deeper dimension. We will explore the 12-14 different functions
of UNRUFFLING and their most effective use as well as the use of Imagery
to effectively ENCOURAGE, ASSIST and SUPPORT the process itself. |
SIMPLE COUNSELING
SKILLS FOR Therapeutic Touch PRACTITIONERS:
PRE-REQUISITE:
Level III.
Most energy work elicits
emotions, and practitioners often do not feel confident to interact effectively
with their clients at this point. Participants at this one day workshop
will have the opportunity to learn effective ways to intervene verbally
with their clients in ways that support the healing process. The non-invasive
interventions taught will be based on principles of Gestalt Theory and
Humanistic Psychology. This is an introductory workshop; there will be
clear explanations, demonstrations and some practice with feedback. |
Crystal has taught various
aspects of Therapeutic Touch and Imagery extensively across Canada, from
Nova Scotia to British Columbia. She has also taught at conferences and
retreats In the USA in Colorado, Kansas, Illinois, Michigan, Massachusetts,
New York and Vermont. Teachings can be arranged for locations outside North
America. Crystal has many years experience of teaching effectively through
interpreters. She has taught at Psychological Conferences and Medical Institutes
in London (UK), Moscow (Russia) and Tbilisi (Georgia). |
